First Calgary Financial is a member-owned financial institution based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The organization was established in 1987 through the merger of seven open-bond credit unions, as well as two additional credit union purchases. The first member-owned credit union that would eventually become First Calgary Financial was founded in 1938.

With over $2.5 billion CAD in assets under administration and nearly 80,000 members (as of October 31, 2010), First Calgary Financial is the second-largest credit union in Alberta. In addition to its 16 retail banking branches, including a Business Solutions Centre, First Calgary Financial also offers 13 one2one Financial Consulting centres[clarification needed], a Commercial Banking group, a Dealer Services team, a locally based Contact Centre and Just Financial.[clarification needed]

On October 26, 2014, it was announced that First Calgary Financial will merger with Chinook Credit Union to form Alberta's second largest credit union under the name Connect First Credit Union, serving 100,000 members across 27 branches in 14 communities across Southern Alberta.[3]
