Founder's Day is national public holiday observed in Ghana to mark the birthday of Ghana's first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah the key founding father of Ghana. Some Ghanaian politicians have tried to change the date to August 4, they however did not succeed. It is celebrated on September 21 of every year.[1]
