Fred Brown (30 January 1896 – 18 December 1971) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (VFL).[2]

After playing with Caulfield Football Club, Brown joined Hawthorn at the start of the 1922 VFA season[3] and he played in Hawthorn's first two seasons in the VFL.
