Friniates
Appearance
The Friniates were an ancient Ligurian tribe on the north of the Apennines, near the sources of the Scultenna (modern Panaro) river, which had been reduced to subjection by C. Flaminius in 187 BCE. (Liv. xxxix. 2.)
