GAxel (GUI-Axel) is a front-end of Axel, which is a popular lightweight command-line Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) downloading client for Unix-like operating systems. GAxel is for users who are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with command-line interfaces (CLIs). It is written in C++ using the Qt library.
