Gabriella Demetriades is a South African model. She was a Miss Indian Premier League (IPL) Bollywood 2009 contestant and was chosen as one of FHM‍ '​s "100 Sexiest Women In The World" contenders.[1] Demetriades is most famous for being "Miss IPL Bollywood" in which she represented the IPL team Deccan Chargers.[citation needed]


Demetriades was born in Parsons Hill in Port Elizabeth. She has been working as a model since the age of 16. She entered the Weekend Post’s Faces of the Future competition in her hometown. Together with her high school friend, Kimberley Wood, Demetriades runs a communications and marketing company named Satin Soldier in Cape Town. In 2009, Demetriades joined the race for Miss Bollywood SA title along with 48 other South African women. She represented the Kolkata Knight Riders after being picked from the crowd of spectators watching the cricket match between Deccan Chargers and Rajasthan Royals.[citation needed]

She is also active in Bollywood and the Indian fashion industry. She appeared in a music video opposite Aditya Narayan, in his single Tu hi Pyar hai. She also appeared in the movie Sonali Cable in a reprising role.[vague]

She has been active in Indian advertisement scene, the recent being the Aisha Advertisement of Micromax Mobiles. She acted in a promo song of Malayalam movie Red wine (റെഡ് വൈൻ), with the song Neelakasham kaividum (നീലാകാശം കൈവിടും). She shares screen with actor Asif Ali.[2] She has also been seen out with Ravi Krishnan in Mumbai.[3]
