As of the census of 2000, there were 74,571 people, 29,222 households, and 19,390 families residing within the μSA. The racial makeup of the μSA was 91.30% White, 5.11% African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.60% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 1.45% from other races, and 1.32% from two or more races.
