George Bowie (born 1968 in Greenock, Scotland)[citation needed] is a Scottish radio personality and club DJ. He currently presents the breakfast show and the GB Experience on Glasgow radio station Clyde 1.

Bowie joined Radio Clyde in 1988 and his first role was working in the production office. He made it on air in 1990 on through the night and then had stints on both lunchtime and the afternoon show. He took over the Breakfast Show at Clyde 1 in 1996. Bowie moved to new station Beat 106 in November 1999, but left after two months having lost around £6,000 earnings in eight weeks.[1] He competed in STV's World Celebrity Boxing event in 2009, but lost to politician Tommy Sheridan on a points decision.[2]
