George Johnson (born December 12, 1987) is an American football defensive end for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He played college football at Rutgers. He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2010. The Buccaneers released him on August 10, 2010 but signed him two weeks later. On September 5, 2010, Tampa Bay signed him to their practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on December 14, but didn't play in a game that season.

In the first game of the 2014 season against the New York Giants, he recorded 1.5 sacks.[1]
