Giant cockroaches, or blaberids (family Blaberidae) are the second-largest cockroach family.

Taxonomy note[edit]

Among the genera of uncertain subfamily, Eustegasta and Isoniscus have been removed from subfamily Perisphaerinae. Cryptocercus is sometimes assigned to a separate subfamily, the Cryptocercidae.
