Giessendam

Giessendam is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 10 km east of Dordrecht, on the river Beneden-Merwede. Giessendam was a separate municipality until 1957, when it merged with Hardinxveld to form the new municipality of Hardinxveld-Giessendam.[1]
