Grabtown (formerly, Quitsna, the name of a nearby settlement) is an unincorporated community in Johnston County, North Carolina. It lies at an elevation of 26 feet (8 m) at 35°57′26″N 77°01′59″W / 35.95722°N 77.03306°W / 35.95722; -77.03306.

It is home

to Tee's Chapel Church and "The Brogden Fire Department".

Grabtown is a small tobacco farming community in Johnston County, North Carolina. Grabtown is nine miles southeast of Smithfield, at 35°25′34″N 78°15′47″W / 35.426°N 78.263°W / 35.426; -78.263.

"Grabtown" is also known as Brogden by Johnston County residents

This Grabtown was the birthplace of actress Ava Gardner and is mentioned in "Grabtown Girl", a biography of the star by Doris Cannon.
