Greenridge Secondary School (Abbreviation: GSS) is a government secondary school located at Bukit Panjang, Singapore.

History

Greenridge Secondary School was established in 1964 as Dunearn Secondary Technical School (DSTS) with an enrolment of 900. The school moved to its present location on the edge of Bukit Panjang New Town and was renamed Greenridge Secondary School. On 16 July 1994, Mr Lee Yiok Seng, then Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Labour and MP for Sembawang GRC declared the school officially open.

The school is one of the pioneer secondary schools in the constituency of Holland-Bukit Panjang GRC and has hosted two other schools, Fajar Secondary School and Zhenghua Secondary School in its 12-year history.

A new era on innovation and enterprise began in 2003 whereby science, design and information technology are combined to make pupils aware of the interconnectedness of subjects in an attempt to stimulate their interest in their studies and the ability to think out of the box. In 2006, Greenridge Secondary School students represented the West Zone cluster for the National WITs Convention.
