Halley Crater is an impact crater in the Argyre quadrangle of Mars, located at 48.7°S latitude and 59.3°W longitude. Halley is located on the western edge of the Argyre impact basin.[1] It is 84.5 km in diameter. It was named after British astronomer Edmond Halley, and the name was approved in 1973.[2]
