Helmut Fink

Helmuth Fink (born 18 March 1901 – 27 April 2009) was the last known German Revolution veteran and the last German World War I-Era veteran in the world. As a teenager, he served in the Freikorps during the German Revolution 1918-1919. After his service, he became a professional Flautist. He died on 27 April just 44 days after his 108th birthday.[citation needed]
