Herbert Shutt (3 September 1879 – 19 November 1922) was an English cricketer.

Shutt made his first-class debut for Hampshire in 1906 against the touring West Indians. Shutt played four first-class matches for Hampshire in 1906, with his final first-class appearance for the county coming in against Leicestershire.

In his four matches for Hampshire, Shutt took 8 wickets at a bowling average of 28.87, with best figures of 4/29.

Shutt represented Cumberland in two matches against Northumberland in 1912 and in one further match against Durham in 1914.

Shutt died at Whitehaven, Cumberland on 19 November 1922.
