Houghton Academy is an elementary/middle school located in the Kaisertown neighborhood of Buffalo, New York. It is located at 1725 Clinton Street, near Houghton Park, and serves Grades PK through 8. The current principal is Elaine Vandi-Kirkland.


School 9 was constructed to replace School 7, located on nearby Bailey Avenue, and opened in 1922. It was renamed Houghton Academy as part of the desegregation plan.[1]
