The company was founded in October 2000 by Subrat Mohanty as a company specializing in Digital Content Creation.

Funding[edit]

In October 2007 Hurix Systems has received second round funding of $5.1 million (Rs20.2 crore INR) from Bangalore-based venture capital firm Helion Venture Partners, LLC. [2]
