Iceland Spring Bottled Water is bottled daily at the source in Iceland. Iceland Spring originates in Iceland's glaciers. Filtered through inert layers of lava rock, the water trickles into the ground over decades picking up a minimum of soluble minerals. It then emerges in a government protected natural spring, in an ancient lava field, in the heart of an isolated nature reserve called Heidmork. Iceland Spring Bottled Water is bottled by Iceland Spring ehf. of Reykjavik, Iceland.

Iceland Spring Bottled Water comes in a 500 ml bottle (16.9 oz), a 32-ounce bottle and a larger 1.5 liter (50.4fl.oz) bottle and also comes bundled in a 6-pack.

In 2011 a new brand was released by Iceland Spring ehf. under the name Iceland Springlets.

Iceland Spring ehf. also produces for The Vitamin Shoppe, Walgreens and Rite Aid under a private label.

Distribution in the USA is through PURE Distribution US, LLC.
