Ideal Free Distribution ("IFD") are an indie rock band from Benton and Lexington, Kentucky. Eric Griffy (bass), Tony Miller (vocals) and Craig Morris (guitar) began recording songs on 4 and 8 track recorders in 1997.

Band history

In 2002, the IFD began writing and recording what would become their self-titled debut album that would eventually be released on Happy Happy Birthday to Me Records in 2007. The record revealed the band coloring its music with Mellotron and organ.
