However, the mere fact that a company, organization, or product is an article's subject does not, on its own, qualify that article for deletion under this criterion. Nor does this criterion apply where substantial encyclopedic content would remain after removing the promotional material; in this case please remove the promotional material yourself, or add the {{advert}} tag to alert others to do so. See CSD G11.

Ilja Visser (born 1978, Amersfoort) is an Amsterdam-based fashion designer.
Career[edit]
In 2001 Ilja Visser graduated with a BA in fashion design from the ArtEZ Academy of Art and Design in Arnhem.[1] She interned at Donna Karan and Maria Cornejo in New York. After graduation Ilja moved to Milan, Italy to learn more of the ropes of the fashion industry.
After returning to Amsterdam, Visser launches her namesake couture line, ILJA, in 2005, establishing her name with distinguishing sculptural tailoring and elaborate technical skill. International recognition came after Ilja showed her collection at Amsterdam Fashion week;[2] this was the official stepping-stone in her career.[1]
In 2009 the fashion house ‘Ilja Visser Holding’ is established, bringing all levels of her growing company under one roof; the monumental Cristofori house, formerly two 17th century warehouses joined as one on Prinsengracht 581–583 in Amsterdam’s historic canal district. This stately address in the popular shopping district ‘the nine little streets’ houses the Ilja Visser Holding head office, design studio, atelier, showroom and, on street level, a 144 sqm brand store and private client room.[1]
In 2011 Visser was the first Dutch designer to receive the Cultuurfonds Mode Stipendium from the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds (Prince Bernhard Cultural Foundation) for excellence in the field. ILJA presents a couture collection honouring Pierre Cuypers, the architect of the renowned Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, which was at the time in the midst of a major reconstruction.[1] In 2012, stars such as Lady Gaga and Avril Lavigne were seen wearing items from ILJA.[3]
In 2015 ILJA makes her official debut in the highest fashion league when she got invited by the Fédération française de la Couture in Paris to present her FW 15/16 couture collection INGENIUM EXISTERE[4][5] on their official haute couture calendar.[6][7][8] This collection was all about how our reality is made out of microscopic geometric shapes and proportions.
In January 2016 ILJA will present her SS 16 couture collection ASSIMILA in Paris, her second time as an invitee on the official haute couture calendar. This collection is again about shapes, but this time inspired by the skin. ‘ASSIMILA’ is short for assimilation, which is all about adjustment and adaptation. This is experienced through the skin, which for example changes colours and shapes to warn or attract.[citation needed]
