Inaruwa इनरुवा is the headquarters of Sunsari District in Nepal. It merged with several VDCs, including Babiya, Jalpapur, and Madhesa. It lies on the Mahendra Highway, and is 25km Northeast away from Koshi Barrage and 18.6km from Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. The town has governmental district offices including the CDO Office, District Development Office, Statistics office, and the District Police Headquarters. There is a National stadium named Inaruwa Rangasala which invites events, cricket and football tournaments. Rajan Mehta is the current mayor.[1]
