iCompete Natural (also known as ICN) is a worldwide bodybuilding, physique; figure, fitness and bikini competition organisation. The organisation was founded by Wayne McDonald.[1][2] iCompete Natural World and Australian Head Offices are located in Victoria and NSW. ICN arranges 40 domestic competitions in 8 States and Territories of Australia.[3][4] Ron Ziemiecki is the current ICN Events Director.

History[edit]

In 1991, Wayne McDonald established the Australian Natural Bodybuilding Federation (ANBF). During 1991-1992, the ANBF “natural” status was 12-months drug-free, later in 1995, a full five year drug-free minimum standard was introduced.[5] In 1999 the Australian Natural Bodybuilding Federation changed the name to the International Natural Bodybuilding Australia (INBA) before creating the largest worldwide natural organisaion, iCompete Natural (ICN) in 2017.[6]

Competitions[edit]

A total of 40 domestic contests are organized by ICN. Competitions are held in every State and Territory of Australia

Drug Testing Policy[edit]

ICN Australia has been an accredited member of WADA (and formerly IOC) drug testing body and the Australian Sports Anti-Drug Authority (ASADA).
