José Roberto Trujillo is a neurovirologist. He is an assistant professor at the Institute of Human Virology of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and is head of its neurovirology laboratory.[self-published source?]
Trujillo spent his childhood in San Pedro Zictepec in central Mexico. He studied neuroscience and virology at Harvard University, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the United States, and became a research assistant at the Harvard School of Public Health. Before that, he graduated from the Arts and Sciences State of Mexico College with Summa Cum Laude honors and he received his medical degree from University Autonomous of Mexico State, Summa Cum Laude.
