James Richard O'Shaughnessy, Baron O'Shaughnessy is a British Conservative politician and member of the House of Lords.
He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire and graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 1998. A former Downing Street aide, he was Director of Policy to the Prime Minister from May 2010 to October 2011.[1][2]
He was created a life peer on 1 October 2015 taking the title Baron O'Shaughnessy, of Maidenhead in the Royal County of Berkshire.[3]
