Janowice [janɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mełgiew, within Świdnik County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Mełgiew, 6 km (4 mi) north-east of Świdnik, and 14 km (9 mi) east of the regional capital Lublin.
