Special economic zone is under pipeline which will bring the socioeconomic changes in these communities. Protection and development of the sugar mill land has been the most burning issue and is under jeopardy from the local people. It has created loss of billions rupees of tax payer's money. Illegal occupation of government lands has created impedance in the development of the local area and loss of significant jobs in agricultural sector. Lack of discipline has created devaluation of lands and agricultural products for real farmers. Destruction of the natural forest and river by the domestic and cross border mafias has created serious problems of flood and dezertization of the fertile lands. Electricity abuse by using unauthorized hooks has created disturbance in the smooth supply of electricity to the local people.

Dumarbana has its own college, high schools and cooperatives. It has been developing as an educational, agricultural, socioeconomic hubs in Bara district. Development of a community hospital is a growing demand of the local communities. Forest conservation, land slide prevention, protection of the wild life and prevention of human injury have been other burning issues of this area.

Parsa National Park[edit]

Newly declared park is famous for the wild lives such as elephants, one horned rhinoceros, "neelgai", diverse birds, python etc. Park is based on "charkose jhhadi."

Amlekhgunj Raxoul Railway[edit]

This railway has been historic monument since the time in history when the neighboring India was colony of Britain while Nepal still being free nation. Even though the railway was constructed for the transport of the logs and sleepers, it lead to the opening of the major roads and constructions of the infrastructures in this area. This railway is at the verge of extinction due to the illegal encroachment of lands by land mafias and deforestation by forest mafias.
