Jennifer Skyler

Jennifer Skyler is a communications executive and former journalist. She is currently the chief corporate affairs officer at American Express.[1]

Journalism career[edit]

Skyler began her career in journalism at CNN.[2] After working with Norah O'Donnell at MSNBC,[3] she became a political producer at the CBS Evening News With Katie Couric,[3] where she was part of the team that was nominated for an Emmy Award.[4]

Business career[edit]

In 2010, Skyler left CBS to join Polyvore,[5] a social shopping start-up that was eventually acquired by Yahoo.[6] In 2011, she went to Facebook to build their consumer communications team.[7] In 2016 she joined WeWork, where she was the company's first public relations hire.[8][9] In 2018 she became chief communications officer.[10] She joined American Express in the fall of 2019.[9][11]

Personal life[edit]

Skyler lives in New York City with her husband Edward and their three children.[12][13]
