Template:Contains Korean text Jin Air Co. Ltd (Korean진에어; RRJin E-eo) is a representative of Korean low-cost carrier, has grown rapidly since its inaugural flight in July of 2008. The airline is young and exciting, traits reflected in its uniform of jeans and shirt. Jin Air currently operates flights to 3 domestic cities and 28 international destinations. The carrier is set to expand further to include the ICN-HNL route in December 2015 and serves its customers with a fleet of 17 B737-800 and 3 B777-200ER of aircraft. All maintenance and trainings are carried out by Korean Air and to better utilize the belly capacity, it has commenced cargo services since November 2013.

History

Jin Air began operations in July 2008 with routes to regional destinations in Korea. In October 2009, Jin Air began flights to Macau, Guam and Bangkok.[2] The name "Jin Air" was officially announced on June 15, 2008 at an opening ceremony in Seoul.[3] It has its headquarters in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.[4] The inaugural flight was between Seoul's Gimpo International Airport and Jeju International Airport on July 17, 2008 using a Boeing 737-800.
