John Steven Satterthwaite (11 August 1928 – 23 April 2016) was an Roman Catholic bishop.

Ordained to the priesthood in 1957, Sattherthwaite was named coadjutor bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lismore, Australia in 1969. He became bishop of the diocese in 1971 and served until he retired in 2001.[1] Satterthwaite died on 23 April 2016.[2]
