Johnny Porter Jackson (March 3, 1951 – March 1, 2006) was a singer and musician, noted for being the drummer for The Jackson 5 from their early Gary, Indiana days until the end of their famed career at Motown.[1]

Career

The label presented Jackson and keyboardist Ronnie Rancifer as the cousins of Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Michael, but neither Johnny Jackson nor Rancifer are directly related to the Jacksons, despite Jackson sharing a surname with them.
