José Alfredo Rodríguez (born September 26, 1989 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer and the former interim WBA Light Flyweight Champion.[1][2] Rodríguez is promoted by the former WBC Champion, Mexican Saúl Álvarez' company Canelo Promotions.[3]

Professional career

In August 2010, José beat undefeated Karluis Díaz for the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental Light Flyweight title.[4]

WBA Light Flyweight Championship

On November 19, 2011 Rodríguez upset Nethra Sasiprapa to win the interim WBA Light Flyweight Championship.[5][6]
