People TV is an Indian television channel based in Trivandrum. It was launched by Malayalam Communications Limited. The channel focuses on news and current issues. People TV introduced on-camera sting operations to Malayalam television journalism on a limited basis.
The channel took responsibility for the SMS campaign against the death sentence of Saddam Hussein. More than 75,000 people expressed their feelings against the US. The campaign against the god-men[clarification needed] and payment-for-seat-culture[clarification needed] of self finance colleges were other interventions.
