Keith Spurgeon (1933–1990) was an English football player and manager.

Career

Playing career

Spurgeon played non-league football in England for Margate, Leytonstone, Folkestone Town, Herne Bay and Snowdown Colliery Welfare.[1]

Coaching career

Spurgeon was manager of Dutch clubs Ajax from 1961 to 1962,[2][3] Heracles Almelo from 1963[4] to 1964,[5] Blauw-Wit Amsterdam[6][7][8] and AGOVV[9] and he later coached the Libyan national side,[10] the Dallas Tornado of the North American Soccer League,[11] Belgian side K.V. Mechelen[12] Swedish side AIK, Cypriot side APOEL, and Landskrona, also of Sweden.[13]
