Kentucky Route 409 (KY 409) is a 7.499-mile-long (12.068 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The highway connects mostly rural areas of Elliott County with Stephens.
Route description
KY 49 begins at an intersection with KY 7 south-southwest of Bruin, in the northeastern part of Elliott County. It travels to the south-southeast and crosses over Fraley Branch. It passes Gray Cemetery and begins paralleling Bruin Creek. The highway curves to the south-southwest and then to the east-northeast. It begins paralleling Ison Creek. It crosses over Johnson Creek and curves to the east-southeast. It crosses over Squirrel Run Hollow and enters Stephens, where it meets its eastern terminus, an intersection with KY 486.[1]
