Kevin Moyers is an American author. He is the creator and writer of the Bunny 17 Media graphic novel "Scorn"(which has received critical acclaim from respected sources such as Ain't It Cool News, Comics Bulletin, and ComicBloc), comic book series "Blasto the Clown", essay books "Kevin Hates Everything" and "Second-Hand Boogers". He also co-writes the educational kids' book series "The Adventures of Casey and the Jackelope" with his daughter.[1] He is also the costar of many independent films, including the Lionsgate film Machined and the international theatrical release Sportkill.


Moyers was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He attended Lane Technical High School, graduating in 1994. He now lives in Phoenix, AZ, where his entertainment career began.


Moyers released his first book Brain Farts or Why You Should Never Punch a Mime in the Face When He's Trying to Tell You That James Lipton is a Mad Space Alien Hell Bent on Taking Over the World's Supply of Corndogs in 2009. The book tackles a number of topics from religion to gay rights, and even suggests August 11 as the first ever Atheist holiday, Atheistmas.

He has written or co-written over a dozen books, comic books, photo books, and more.

Comic books[edit]


Scorn is a graphic novel that was originally intended to be a four book mini-series. The first two issues were originally published by Septagon Studios before the company no longer had the finances to continue the series.. Issue #3 and #4 were co-written by David C. Hayes. All artwork was done by Philipp S. Neundorf.

Scorn #1: Obsessed was originally released independently on August 13, 2004.

Scorn #2: Rage was originally released on August 25, 2007

Stand-up comedy[edit]

Moyers performed stand-up comedy in Arizona and around the country. He stopped performing in 2010.
