Kirstine Roepstorff

Kirstine Roepstorff (born 1972 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is an artist based in Copenhagen and Berlin.

Life and work

Roepstorff attended the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen from 1994–2001 and Rutgers University, Mason School of Fine Art, from 1999-2000.

She has shown work in many exhibitions including at Patricia Low Contemporary[1] in Gstaad, Galerie Mullerdechiara[2] in Berlin and the Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art. Roepstorff has also shown at galleries and museums such as the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design[3] in Oslo, Silverstein Gallery[4] in New York City and the Stedelijk Museum[5] in Amsterdam. She is represented by Galleri Christina Wilson [6] in Copenhagen. She will also be showing work with RH Gallery in New York City in 2010.

She was awarded the Eckersberg Medal in 2014.[1]
