Kosovo refugees in Albania refers to the mostly ethnic Albanians of Kosovo fleeing the Kosovo War into neighbouring Albania. At the height of the Kosovo War, refugees were crossing the border into Albania at the rate of 4,000 people per hour.[1] The UNHCR stated that up to 25% of the population of Kosovo had fled.[1]
