Lanny Joon is a Korean-American actor, known for his roles on Lost as Dr. Bae, and as a Vice Cop in the feature film Takers, Agent Cole in Black Gold, as well as Saeng in Michael Kang's West 32nd alongside John Cho, Grace Park, and Jun-seong Kim.[1]

Joon also stars as the protagonist "John" in Daniel DPD Park's "Ktown Cowboys," which won Best Feature Film at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.[2][3] He has also appeared in TV shows such as Castle (as Philip Lee), The Big Bang Theory (as Officer Shin), Wizards of Waverly Place (as Sensei), in J.J. Abrams' Undercovers (as a French Translator), The Forgotten (as an Asian Cop), Numb3rs (as Danny Pang), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (as Jin Ming/Mr. Pan), Mind Games ( as Paul Wang episode 5 cauliflower Man), Crisis (as FBI Agent episode 9: You do not know war) and more.[4]

Joon is a graduate of New York University (NYU), where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and Theater.[5]
