Leeds/Bradford Airport railway station is a proposed railway station near Yeadon, Leeds, in West Yorkshire. It would serve Leeds Bradford Airport and would be situated on a new line to the airport between Horsforth on the Harrogate Line and a junction near Guiseley on the Wharfedale Line. The station together with the line were proposed by the Campaign for Better Transport as an alternative to a major new road scheme in the area.[1] Even though the gradients involved appear to be too steep for conventional trains, it has been included in a strategic development plan[2] published by the airport for public consultation, where a service by tram-trains has been proposed.[3] A parkway station on the existing Harrogate Line together with bus links is also considered.[3][4]
