Les enfants du Pirée is the seventh album by Dalida, and her first released in the 1960s. It contains hits like "Les enfants du Pirée", which won an award in Québec for 'best foreign song of 1960', shared with the version of Gloria Lasso, "T'aimer follement", "Romantica" and "L'Arlequin de Tolède". The song "Les enfantes du Pirée" comes from the movie "Never on Sunday/Pote tin Kyriaki" nominated for 8 Oscars and won an Oscar for the music of Manos Hadjidakis, sung by Melina Mercouri who starred in the movie along Jules Dassin.
