In Schweden gibt es die Mobilfunkstandards 2G - 3G - 4G. Alle die 12 Mio. Smartphones nutzen gleichzeitig alle 3 Mobilfunkstandards 2G/3G/4G. Der schwedische Staat und Staatliche/private gewerbliche Anbieter (allabolag.se) haben das skandinavische, norwegische, schwedische, finnische Nokia, russische nordische Mobilfunknetz, verteilt auf terrestische Funkzellen, mit 150 Millionen Dollar (31.12.2016 24h) bezahlt. Die 27 Millionen Kunden in Skandinavien haben in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten 1 Milliarde Dollar bezahlt (Profit: 850.000.000 Dollar). Im Jahr 2017 plant die derzeitge schwedische Regierung in Schweden das neue Mobilfunknetz 5G zu bauen, Preis 1-2 Milliarden Dollar (Staat Schweden bezahlt alles). Anbieter und Vertreiber dieses neuen terrestischen industriellen Informations- und Kommunikations-5G-Mobilfunknetzes sollen die derzeitigen Mobilfunkanbieter Telia, Tele2, Telenora, Elgiganten sein.
