Old Jumma Masjid Of Kilakarai or Baadhan Masjid of qum or Pattanam India Kilakarai 628-629 AD U Constructed by the Yemeni Merchants and trade settlers of pre Islamic period in pandiya kingdom ordered by Baadhan Governor of Yemen at the time of Muhammad, after they accepted Islam in (628–630 AD). Rebuilt in the 11th century, it is the oldest mosque of India. Ibnu Batutah visited this mosque and said in his travel notes "it is the place of where most Arab settlers live and he surprised to see them living as in Arab land."
