The newspapers in the Netherlands are issued every day, with the exception of Sunday and some general holidays, unless noted otherwise. In 2009 the number of the newspapers was 35 in the country.[1]

The number of national daily newspapers in the Netherlands was 108 in 1950, whereas it was 38 in 1965.[2]
