After that post office's closure in 1981 the memorial moved to the delivery offices in Rathbone Place; when they in turn closed in 2013 it moved to its current site.[5]

Spectre Farringdon station 2018Simon Periton Glazing motif N/a Based on a drawing by Christopher Dresser titled Force and Energy (c. 1867–1873), contemporary with Smithfield Market which is adjacent to the station. Periton's design also references the etched glass found in Victorian pubs.[10]
