LockerDome is an interest-based social network founded in 2008 in St. Louis, Missouri, by CEO Gabe Lozano. Launched as a sports-themed social network, it expanded to other interests with the launch of LockerDome 3.0 in December 2013. The new design took cues from Pinterest with "lockers" for compartmentalizing interests.
According to the company, LockerDome saw three million monthly unique visitors in November 2012, four million in December 2012, about 20 million in December 2013, and more than 75 million in November 2014.
As of December 2014, the company has raised more than $18 million, including $10 million from a Series B funding round led by Cultivation Capital.
