Looney Tunes Super Stars' Sylvester & Hippety Hopper: Marsupial Mayhem is a DVD featuring 18 newly remastered cartoons. It is the final release in the series, due to poor sales of Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 2 and the depletion of the remastering budget for new-to-DVD Looney Tunes shorts.[1] This release features all of Sylvester's pairings with Hippety Hopper and/or his son, Sylvester, Jr. Fifteen of them are new to DVD while two were previously available on the Golden Collection DVDs and one was previously available on Looney Tunes Mouse Chronicles: The Chuck Jones Collection DVD/Blu-ray set. The DVD was released on April 23, 2013.[1] On Blu-ray reissue, the final 13 cartoons are cropped to 1.66:1 widescreen format.

Contents

All cartoons in this collection star Sylvester, and co-star either Hippety Hopper, Sylvester Jr., or both. All are directed by Robert McKimson, except for Goldimouse and the Three Cats, which was directed by Friz Freleng.
