Magdalena is a town and municipality, in Jalisco in central-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 445.36 km². This town is a neighboring a little town named Santa Teresa, Jalisco and also the worldwide known town of Tequila Jalisco known for their traditional Tequila liquor, and beautiful land , many people near the town of Magdalena gave birth or were born in the hospital on Magdalena Like the Famous Ricardo Alvarez

As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 18,924.[1]
