Marcos Vinicius Oliveira de Almeida, also known as Buchecha (born in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil, January 8, 1990) is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) world champion in his weight and absolute.[citation needed] Almeida is a black belt under Rodrigo Cavaca and competes for the Checkmat team. Rodrigo Cavaca also gave Almeida his nickname Buchecha, which means big cheeks, because Almeida had big cheeks when he started training.[1]
