Mare' (Arabic: مارع, also spelled Marea) is a town in northern Syria, administratively part of the Aleppo Governorate, located 25 kilometers north of Aleppo. Nearby localities include Tell Rifaat to the west, A'zaz to the northwest and al-Bab to the southeast. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of 16,904 in the 2004 census.
